The Moorhaven arboretum: a variety of ornamental trees and shrubs planted September 25 2004 by about 30  residents under the supervision of Matt Morgan. A number of existing mature trees were retained.

Tree 3: Ginko biloba:   Ginko, Duck's foot tree, Maidenhair tree

Deciduous conifer with fan-shaped leaves turning a clear yellow in autumn. Ginkgo biloba is the oldest living tree species, a living fossil with fossils recognisably related to modern ginkgo from the Permian, dating back 270 million years. A single tree can live as long as 1,000 years and grow to a height of 120 feet.
